I'm Eric Martz, a New York City based Data & AI Engineer with 6+ years of experience building scalable data pipelines and analytics for pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, and healthcare technology.
My expertise spans the entire data pipeline lifecycle — from ETL development and cloud infrastructure to analytics and machine learning applications.
These days my focus is on AI engineering: building LLM-powered agents and the durable workflow infrastructure that keeps them reliable. I also contribute to open-source projects like Temporal, where I work on making durable execution better suited to AI workloads.

I really love tennis. I picked it up during the pandemic and have been playing ever since. Learning to play a later in life has been a fun challenge!
